Many biblical texts position women in a lower position compared to men who are always positioned higher. This happened because the Bible text was written by men who at that time lived in a patriarchal culture which resulted in the silencing of women's voices. Unequal treatment of women in various fields has been a struggle for women for centuries. This is the background to the emergence of women's movements in the 20th century, including feminism, women's emancipation, and women's liberation, which provided major changes for women in modern society. This article explains how women should take part in God's church. Through an analysis of the case of the church in Corinth, the intent and purpose of Paul's statement will be explained based on the context. Based on the research results, feminists should continue to strive to help women voice their voices. This article is an effort to help women understand their position as women in the Christian community based on Bible verses.
