MENGENAL IDENTITAS GEREJA DALAM KUMPULAN PERATURAN TERTULIS YANG DISEBUT TATA GEREJA

This study aims to show that Church Order can be a marker of church identity in a changing world situation due to the influence of modernity. In the context of modernity, the church is experiencing a crisis because it is oriented towards the present and the future rather than the past. The research results show that the presence of church order can reveal church identity through the dimensions of being, becoming, and doing so that the church can organize its life and carry out its mission in the world in a relevant, contextual, and functional manner. Tata Gereja GMIT 2010 is an example of the church’s identity in question. This research was done qualitatively by utilizing a number of literature.
